Topic: Login / logout problem

I just installed the latest release of album last night.

I have it set  to integrate with UBB classic, which I also have installed.

In UBB, I have two user names-- we'll call them "Admin" and "Testuser".

In UBB, I was logged in as Admin.  I went to album and it prompted me to login again.  I logged in as Testuser.

Now I can't log out as Testuser.  I went to UBB and logged out, and I even closed and re-opened my browser, but when I go to album it still says, "welcome Testuser".

So then I went to the url, "...album.pl?function=Admin" and I got to my configuration page.  But even my configuration page says, "welcome Testuser" even though Testuser should not be able to get to configuration!

What's happening?  What should I do?

Hi Nate,

If you use the "function=admin" feature, you can see the admin menu no matter who you're logged in as. (That's why you're "strongly encouraged" to treat the function codes like passwords, and change them...)

If you can't log out as testuser, try turning on debug, to see where the login info is coming from. You might also have to "delete all cookies" in UBB.

You can also try "function=delcookie" in album.pl, which deletes any album.pl cookies that may be hanging around...
