Am I out of it?

I've been on the site for a little while now (thanks for the awesome software Mike!).  Anyway, wasn't this site orginally perl based?  If so, how did you do all of the conversions from flat files to DB?

I'm running an High School Alumni website and I'm interested in moving to PHP, but I don't want to loose all of my user info, pictures, posts, etc.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, a long time ago we were on YaBB, then we cut over to YaBB SE, and now to SMF. Luckily, there were converters for every step, so it was pretty easy. :)
