Topic: jpegs not loading properly

I have recently got myself a website and installed activeperl and imagemagick, everything works fine except that my images are not loading properly. When i try to look at my album from my browser (doesn't matter witch one) it only loads the beginning of the file.  Anyone know what's wrong?!?!

Beginning of a file? Sounds like maybe they were FTP'd over in ASCII mode? Got a link we can check it out?

I have discovered that large images doesn't load properly even if i insert them in HTML page, so it's not a CGI- specific error i believe.

Yeah, it's definitely an image problem... even viewing them directly doesn't work:

and they fail to load at the same point... Not sure if you caught the ASCII/Binary bit above, but that could cause it.

Do you mean if i ftp'd the images over to my server?
If i view the images on my server with acdsee they look fine, so something happens when its transfered to the browser.
I must say that i don't envy people that do this for a living  i think I'm going out of my mind!!!......

Ok, if the images themselves are OK, then it must be something about how the web server is serving them up... I'm not sure what that would be mind you... Maybe check the server settings to see if any max file sizes may be limiting the downloads?

I solved the problem by installing XP, now the jpegs look fine
