The first way is to simply click on the "Update Titles and Descriptions" link on the admin menu. This will set the album to load in a special mode, where you can enter a title and long description for the album or photo you are currently viewing. In this option, you have to enter info for each item by browsing to it. (Note that you can also go to your album through the web as
http://www.webserver.com/cgi-bin/album.pl?function=enter_desc. Adding this "?function=enter_desc" will have the same effect as using the admin menu. If you've changed the enter_desc code, use the changed version in your URL).
The second option is to populate a descriptions.txt file for each album. This is what the above option does under the covers, but you may want to edit this file directly.
