Topic: beta 6 sort issue

I mentioned this a while ago but I notice that in the  latest beta, the sort opions are still not working.

Although pics within albums appear to be sorted OK, the albums (sub directories) seem to come up in no discernable order although it is always the same order.

Changing sort options has no effect.

This does not happen with 5.7 where the sort option selected is applied to albums and photos.

Any help appreciated.

I can't reproduce this! I've been able to change the sort order in albums, sub albums, etc and it works for both photos and albums.

Really early versions of 6.0 had serious sorting problems. When did you download?

Also, is it possible you have a local config that may be overriding your global setting?

Any idea what other local configuration may be causing this Mike.

I am running the latest version of 6 and nothing I do has any effect on Album sorting although as stated before looking at the same albums with 5.7 the sort order is correct???

If you want, I can take a look at your album to see what's going on... Would need your debug code through e-mail or PM is all...
