Mike sent me this, and I think it's definitely a worthy Tip and Trick:
BTW, you can change the sort order to sort by filename, if you want. Just change the "sortby" config item. And if you want only certain albums to sort by filename, just drop a local album.cfg file in those albums, with a sortby (and only a sortby) config item in them.
What this means is that you can have one directory sorted by date, and one directory sorted by name. This works great for me, since I like to sort all my pics by name, since I use my digital camera and it keeps them in chronological order. If I happen to modify exposure on a pic, and resave it, the date obviously changes, and would put my pics out of order if I had sorted by date.
And in my user's directories, I sort those by date since those titles are pot-luck at best.
This is a wonderful feature!
