as if you don't have enough to do already. ;)

view xx number of recent uploads.

a little drop down menu to select the 5/10/25.. most recent uploads.

[edit] [delete] available to admin in "recent uploads"

recent uploads in the same format as the rest of the album instead of a vertical display.

Sounds good, I'll add 'em to the to do list! I'm kinda part way there with some of those already, but haven't had the time to finish them off...
